First off, don't download any third party plugins. FL studio has all the tools you need for mixing vocals.I suggest you google 'recording revolution' and go to its YouTube page where you'll find lots of helpful mixing tips by a dude called Graham. He uses Pro Tools but his advice can be applied to any DAW basically.EQ and compression will be your go to plugins for vocals. If you've studied his tips and applied them and your vox still sounds lame you're either doing it wrong, need to learn to sing through your diaphragm or you just got a shite mic.
