Hi all,Thinking of starting SSE, but was wondering if anyone has a nice and tested mod set up? I saw one on Nexus some months ago but forgot what it is called (and didn't think of bookmarking it, dohhh. So, yeah thought I ask you guys since some of you already played through it a couple of times I'm guessing.I know SkyUI 2.2 can be used for better inventory look which be a given, but part from that have no clue really.
Ohh and wont be needing any ENB I think.Any and all inputs be greatly appreciated. These are my favorites.Anything by arthmoor is always well worth adding.hthArthmoor is really good but everyone is different. Some people love the player home mods. Others like the beautiful bodies and faces mods. Others like the npc mods.
Then there are collectible mods and expansion mods and quest mods. I change mine all the time trying new things on each play through. I like the expanded cities and expanded guilds and attacks on the roads and wanderers.

The list is endless.BTW I get a lot of my mod ideas from MxROh. Arthmoor is:Even listing ideas is endless. How about Elianoraor Oxhorn. Or.Edited August 12, 2017 by Cryzeteur.
Mar 12, 2018 - I found that Skyrim SE would not run through SKSE with SkyUI enabled, but it would run with SkyUI disabled. Got so frustrated until I. DO NOT USE ANYTHING FROM THE WINDOWS APP STORE. It is extremely unlikely that any future non-SE Skyrim updates will be released. Forums Skyrim Skyrim:Mouse and Keyboard not working Ok. Basically I have been playing for 90+ hours. Downloaded the HD texture update. Played another 10 hours or so. Then suddenly. Yesterday evening. I start the game. Only to find no mouse cursor and the keyboard direction arrows.
Can SkyUI 2.2 be used in Skyrim SE? I don't see a version for it and the one for Skyrim says it needs SKSE.UPDATE:Never mind. The old 2.2 ver does not require SKSE, it's the the newer ones that do.Yes, and the only thing is you have a warning message when using it which can be removed.
Here isa YouTube link which explains it and also has a link to a version of the SkyUI 2.2 that don't have the warning message -If on the other hand you having a Ultra Wide monitor like I have then there is a mod that fixes the Widescreen and removes the warning from SkyUI as well.I really appreciate all replies, will have a closer look at the youTube links Cryzeteur posted as well, thanks again for those. Although, I am following Elianora already, love her housing mods. OK, thought I move the conversation over here instead of clogging up the YouTube thread in regards to Gophers SE plans.I installed the Interesting NPC's the other day using NMM and have to admit it took quiet a bit of time. I have the RAR file on my computer and used the Add Mod from File on the NMM, took about 4-5 min before it showed up.
Then clicking to Install and Activate the mod, that took another 20-25 minutes! In any case it is installed and so far working. One of the NCP spawns in the Riverwood Inn where my little guy is for the moment so had a chat with him. So far all good there.
Slowly installing a couple more mods, just to see how things going, then once Vortex is out sometime next week, I be doing a more through list. So, was wondering if anyone has any texture mods to recommend? I was using before, and I see it is in SSE as well, so might use it again unless finding something else.
As for the greenery, what kind of mods do you use?? Don't recall the name on one I used but the grass was way to high in it, almost up to your chest. In any case, if you know one that makes the nature vibrant, so to speak, then I be all ears eyes!I also used a mod called, since getting 1 flower from some of the plants when you see it is like 4-5 on it felt wrong.
Unfortunately that mod author stopped playing and modding, so not been ported to SSE. There is a similar on, but it has not been updated since end of 2016.
So if anyone knows some similar mods, once again be all for to hear about it.Probably more nice mods around that I am missing so fell free to add to the list.On another note, since not sure how Vortex will be working, but on MO you could easily merge mods by just 'dragging it and dropping it ontop' of the mod onto the one you wanted to merge it with. If that's not possible with Vortex, how would you go to do it otherwise? And example is for me, using a since I am playing on 21:9 display. It has 3 files, one for the game itself, then 2 optional for better message box control and better dialogue control. If those 3 could be merged easily, then would make the list less cluttered. Just not sure how now though.

The SE edition is found under the OldRim page on Nexus. But I'm mixing it with many other mods. Here's my I plan to use on my first SSE playthrough.
The list is not final as I haven't tested all of it yet. I also used a mod called, since getting 1 flower from some of the plants when you see it is like 4-5 on it felt wrong. Unfortunately that mod author stopped playing and modding, so not been ported to SSE.

One cool thing about playing SSE is it's forcing me to use a lot of mods I haven't used yet where I would normally fall back on tried and true mods.

Do appreciate the list of texture mods, I'll have a look through them and see what's there. However I am not sure if it is still available.
What is available are two mods:Verdant GrassVerdant Forest GrassThank you, recognized a couple of those. SMIM already bookmarked, and I think it was Verdant Grass I used in Vanilla Skyrim and the grass was way to high, but I have a look at it, might changed since I used it last times.
Also bookmarked most of these for later. On another note, is it hard to convert a Vanilla Skyrim mod to SEE?? Asking because there was a mod I used before,. Which I found quiet useful, plus the author also fixed some mistakes in the vanilla recipes. Unfortunately seem the author not longer active so would have to convert it for personal use myself, so does anyone have any recommendations as to how to learn doing that?
Or if it is something similar already at SSE and I missed it, although did go through all Alchemy mods. But might be elsewhere?Edit: Also forgot to ask about RaceMenu, which I saw earlier has not been converted over, so what you guys using for mod when creating your characters??Edited February 12, 2018 by Beuwolf. First, you can manually download an Old-Skyrim mod and simply load it into SkyrimSE. Try it, and if it works with no problems it is probably good. You may find something doesn't work later on.Second, If it didn't load or run properly (i.e.CTD), look at the files. If it has more than just a standard.esp and or.esm and a data folder containing more than just a simple Meshes and Textures folders then you might have to unpack it (there are step by step guides available on converting mods) and restructure it. If you have to restructure it, it is useful to understand exactly what the mod is doing and why.Once you have done that, load it into Creation Kit SE and save it.
It will save everything in the SE format. This might correct any problems you had.Third, some mods use scripts that do not work in SKSE64 Alpha. Nothing can be done about that unless you are a Ninja programmer. These instructions are not a guide.

It does say it is using a script so might not work, but if that's the case I try the rest. Much appreciating your reply. On another note, is it hard to convert a Vanilla Skyrim mod to SEE?? There are other STEP guides for SSE, but I think this is the most up to date. You can find info on RaceMenu in the posts under the mod page for OldRim:Generally, Check:.SSE pages.pages. Some will have the SSE edition in the Files.
Some mention it on the landing page or in the Posts.Google the name of the mod and Skyrim SE. EG search for Skyrim SE RaceMenu. Sometimes others have already converted or tried to convert the one you're looking for.Excellent suggestions. I would also like to add a note: You will not find any help converting mods and no one should share mods they converted without explicit permission from the mod author.
We certainly respect all mod authors here and defend all the rights of the mod authors. There is no problem when someone converts a mod for personal use.
